Hands-on Jacobs Astronomical Solar
Jacob & Co. solar system watch gets the sun.
Jacob & Co. Astronomia Solar is the latest version of the Astronomia tourbillon. The tourbillon debuted at Baselworld in 2014 and is one of the most watched watches. The exhibition and the fact that a company known for high-end jewellery and timepieces created such a complex mechanical device that is visually eye-catching has caused many people to turn their eyes and have their tongues swayed.
Of course, this is not the first high mechanical complexity of Jacob & Co., but from a design point of view, it is undoubtedly the most amazing, and it does have the collective imagination of the watchmaking industry. Since Ulysse Nardin Freak became the first real member of Ulysse Nardin Freak, many newly established companies are experimenting with this truly top, minimalist, large or large watch design. High probability, bold style as early as 2000, but to achieve this is difficult, because it requires a sense of the superfluous nature that few watch companies have.
Since the introduction of the first model, the design has been constantly evolving. One of the most interesting models is Astronomia Sky, which includes real-time display of stars and star maps (we conducted hands-on experiments earlier this year), and we are also happy to have Jacob & Co. founder Jacob Jacobo and watchmaker fashion fake watch design studio Luca Soprano of Studio 7h38 (the movement and watch partner of Jacob & Co.) was in the office and talked about “Astronomy” in a video.
The latest version of astronomy is solar astronomy. Solar is different from other astronomical watches in many ways. The first thing you may notice is that the center bracket has three arms instead of four. The time is visible on a dial (the dial is mounted on a differential gear system, which ensures that 12:00 is always placed on the top for easy reading of the time), and the tourbillon is located on the second swing arm. The earth representing the earth is on the third arm. The center of the carrier is a 1.5 carat citrine, with 288 facets.
Like other Astronomia replica watches, Astronomia Solar is not an astronomical complex function in the usual sense, that is to say, it is not intended to accurately reflect the motion of miniature celestial bodies. For example, the miniature earth does not rotate about its axis once every 24 hours.
Instead, Jacob & Co. chose to create a visually more dynamic experience, the real purpose is to capture the irrational excitement of watching the night sky, not what you might say, more the simplicity and rationality of spherical music taste. Of course, the astronomical sky has accurate real-time indications of stars, but the fidelity of actual celestial dynamics has always been an exception rather than a rule in astronomers’ watches.
The earth’s rotation speed is fast enough that the rotation is invisible: it rotates every 60 seconds, and the vehicle system now rotates every 10 minutes, which is twice the previous model of the vehicle system (one rotation takes 20 minutes). The astronomical celestial sphere does rotate around the vertical axis once every 24 hours, which is suitable for the most accurate astronomical clocks in astronomy. Like other models, the earth is enamel-titanium alloy and is hand-carved.
The two-axis flying tourbillon rotates around its central axis once every minute; technically, this is a two-axis tourbillon, thanks to the ten-minute rotation of the carrier arm. best fake watches for men
The base (the background of the carrier system) is Aventurine, with stylized representations of all planets in the solar system (only eight; Jacob & Co. insisted on the controversial decision of the International Astronomical Union to downgrade the first nine planets, so sorry, Pluto fans.
The upper and lower strings of the movement are performed by two keys on the bottom cover and recessed hinged labels. Like earlier astronomical models, the sides of the case are inlaid with sapphire panels.
This is not the smallest astronomer; the original astronomy was 50 mm in diameter and the crystal height was 25 mm. In contrast, the astronomical sky is relatively slim, measuring 44.5mm x 21mm. Obviously, the focus of these watches is not to be a daily companion, but a compelling display. However, many people may find that the 44.5mm version is wearable by astronomers, while the 50mm version is not.
The movement diameter of the JCAM19 movement is 16.50mm x 34.55mm, including the height of the carriage arm and its parts (not including the garnet impact that drops to 11.70mm), and the frequency is 28,800 vph, which is higher than any previous astronomer All are high. model. Since the design is more complicated than other astronomical wholesale fake watches (especially the counter-rotating Tanglin background), the number of parts is higher than any other astronomical watch: 447 components, excluding gems.
