Girard Perregaux Vintage 1945 Vintage Tourbillon with Three Golden Bridges
Girard Perregaux 1945 vintage tourbillon, three golden bridges, 70th anniversary edition. The long name of the watch, but it’s really a watch! GP is famous for its tourbillon with three golden bridges, and Vintage 1945 is its curved rectangular case.
GP’s three-golden bridge tourbillon has a long history, which can be traced back to 1887. At that time, Constant Girard’s three-golden bridge tourbillon won the first prize at the Paris World Exposition and established a uniqueness for watches with tourbillons. And pleasant building. The entire movement is built on three bridges, the bridges are designed as double-headed arrows, and these bridges are arranged in parallel. This aligns the barrel, gear train and tourbillon on the same axis. The bridges are made of gold, with their large rubies inlaid in the middle. The layout exudes a harmonious and dignified beauty. Some people even added poetry to the bridge, calling them representatives of the past, present and future.
We have always been fascinated by this tourbillon architecture and used one of the earliest pocket best swiss replica watches to carry three golden bridges. It was reissued in 2011 to pay tribute, and we introduce it here. A very special version was released at Baselworld 2015, equipped with a minute repeater function, and we reviewed it here. For this article, our purpose is simply to pay tribute to the beauty of the new 70th anniversary of the 1945 vintage in Art Deco style.

Pay attention to the arrangement of your hands. The hour hand is placed on the minute hand. In conventional watches, the hands should be arranged so that the minute hand is on the hour hand. In a tourbillon with three golden bridges, this arrangement is necessary because the dial we see is actually the back of the movement after it has been flipped. Note also that the pinion of the wheel extends to the hand.
