A more advanced version of the luxurious original, the replica Jacob & Co. Astronomia Sky is a massive watch with an exotic 3D time and astronomical indication display.

While the American jeweler is best known for its gemstone multi-time zone watches with little technical interest, the Astronomia Sky is a mechanically charming timepiece created by Ateliers7h38, the complication specialist founded by Luca Soprana and Christophe Naudin. Almost everything visible in the front of the astronomical sky is moving at speeds ranging from one revolution per minute to one revolution per year.

The bright blue titanium dial at the bottom of the dial rotates once a year, which approximates sidereal time, or the time it takes Earth to make one revolution around the sun.

The central globe is painted titanium and serves as a day and night indicator. Four arms extend from the central axis, each carrying a different part of the mechanism; the central axis makes one revolution around the dial every 20 minutes, and the entire mechanism moves with it.

The hours and minutes are located on a sub-dial mounted on the third arm, which also contains a differential system. This ensures that the sub-dials are always vertically aligned relative to the watch face, even if the central axis rotates it for 20 minutes.

Opposite the time display is the three-axis tourbillon, with two cages that rotate at 60 seconds and 5 minutes; the last axis is the central axis, which rotates at 20 minutes. online fake watch

The other arm has an “orbital seconds hand,” which is essentially a satellite-like wheel-shaped second hand. Attached to the other end of the arm is a 1-carat orange sapphire that also rotates once per second.

The size of the display means the watch is huge, 47mm in diameter and 25mm thick, but one of them offers a panoramic view of the movement. Since the rose gold case is more like a frame with a large sapphire window, the movement can be seen from all angles.
