Platinum components
The engineers and designers of Patek Philippe “Advanced Research” deviated from the famous self-winding movement R 27. With this movement, Patek Philippe ushered in a grand comeback of the minute repeater in 1989.
In addition to the additional fortissimo module, the minute repeater hammer originally made of steel has been replaced with a platinum hammer. This is a patented solution. In this specific case, the percussion quality is improved according to the instructions of the Patek Philippe seal. .
