Audemars Piguet launches Royal Oak concept matte gold flying tourbillon
Royal Oak Concept was originally a series of very complex oversized men’s watches, and later added some women’s watches, including the brand new and eye-catching Royal Oak Concept frosted gold flying tourbillon.
The Royal Oak Concept ladies watch, driven by a manual-winding tourbillon movement, combines the traditional multi-faceted concept with the matte frosted gold finish conceived by the Italian jeweler for Audemars Piguet, and uses a unique stacked concentric Ring new dial style.
When this arrived in my inbox, I was very interested in style. Thanks to its shape and simple surface treatment, the dial and hands have a clean geometric style and can be perfectly matched with the angled Concept case. The tourbillon has a higher aesthetic purpose, and the case continues the concentric ring pattern of the dial.
Since the men’s Concept replica watch is too large to fit most wrists (especially due to the integrated strap), the 38.5 mm diameter female Concept watch may fit most men’s and women’s wrists.
In view of AP’s superb case processing technology and the usual high quality of the dial, I hope this watch will be very beautiful in real life. However, considering the high price of AP watches, I hope this watch will be very expensive (prices cannot be provided at the time of publication).
The most unusual feature of this new Popular cheap watch is the dial design, which is the first of Royal Oak. The dial is made of metallic blue with a radially brushed surface. It is composed of four concentric circles and slopes downward toward the pointer. The tourbillon cage at six o’clock is similar, consisting of four rings and ending in a circle set with brilliant cut diamonds.
The circular pattern continues to move on the movement, this is cal. 2964 was developed by Renaud & Papi (a respected expert on complications), a subsidiary of Audemars Piguet. The bridges of the movement are engraved with concentric rings on the frosted surface.
The case is available in white gold or rose gold. The shape is similar to the men’s Royal Oak concept car. The three large facets on the one-piece lugs echo the shape of the bezel. All the top surfaces are decorated with frosted gold finishes-handmade, with sharp tools to form small cracks on the surface-mirror polished bevels and brushed sides.
