Rado Captain Cook bronze
Rado’s Captain Cook series, named after the famous 18th century British explorer, has launched three new models, including a 42mm bronze case, water-resistant to 300 meters/1,000 feet.
The appearance is characterized by retro details, which directly inspired the 1962 prototype, which was a great success. Of course, the technical specifications of the watch have been updated to modern standards to ensure improved accuracy and reliability.
The three models are available in blue (ref. R32504205), brown (ref. R32504306) or green (ref. R32504315) sun dials and matching bezels made of high-tech ceramics. Both the oversized index finger and the thick arrow-shaped pointer are treated with white Super-LumiNova.
This watch is powered by the 3 Hz ETA C07.611 self-winding movement, the date is at 3 o’clock, and it has a power reserve of up to 80 hours. The screw-in case back is decorated with three stamped seahorses.
