Ulysse Nardin Xplosion on the wrist: Skeleton X Magma

Ulysse Nardin fake has just launched a new model, the Skeleton X Magma. This watch is made of ultra-light carbon fiber and red marble epoxy resin-it seems that at least the color combination has gone from hell to Le Locle in Switzerland. As the name suggests, “Skull X Magma” is reminiscent of liquid magma, and each model is unique. Simplified to the essentials, the watch is volcanic, strong and masculine.

With its fully exposed technical characteristics, it does not affect imagination at all. The skeleton movement of Skeleton X Magma is housed in a 43 mm case, which is made of a mixture of carbon and epoxy. It is very lightweight and has an eye-catching marble pattern. Because of its lightness, despite its larger diameter, it is still comfortable to wear in daily life. The case is also waterproof to 5 atmospheres.

As mentioned earlier, the extremely hollow dial of the Skeleton X Magma left a deep impression (calibre – more on this later). On the dial, the X composed of four indexes is surrounded by a rectangle with Roman numerals anchored on both sides of the rectangle. The combination of red and black is fascinating and flows from the case to the dial. The red Roman numerals are engraved with letters at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock. In order to ensure the best readability even at night, Ulysse Nardin uses gray Super-LumiNova coated hands.

Under the open dial, there is a lava red, angular clockwork. The manufacturing movement UN-371 with manual winding has a sufficient power reserve of 4 days and is extremely technically sophisticated.

The Skeleton X Magma design is surrounded by a black leather strap. We can fully imagine that this design is polarized. On the other hand, precisely because of its uniqueness, it is likely to find passionate lovers soon.
